Facilities at Spa Bermondsey

The excellent facilities at Spa are designed to provide the right balance of security and challenge for our pupils. We have most of the same facilities mainstream secondary schools have, as well as some they don’t.

Each classroom is a well-organised, clutter-free, visually-rich environment with the following features:

a social area with comfortable seating where lessons often start and finish
tables for group work
work-stations for pupils who benefit from them
a reading corner
a visual timetable.

We also have a number of small study rooms throughout the school where pupils can work if they need some 1:1 time.

We have a large outdoor space with playground, vegetable garden, chicken coop and sensory garden.

Spa Bermondsey Garden

We have a lovely outdoor environment in which to relax and play, with apple and cherry trees, raised vegetable and flower-beds, a stream, climbing equipment, and an enclosure for our chickens.
