Spa Education Trust, a specialist multi-academy trust of two schools (Spa Camberwell and Spa Bermondsey), is seeking a Chief Operations and Finance Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding educational support and driving positive outcomes for our school communities.
As Director of Operations and Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our operational strategy, ensuring robust financial management and the highest standards of support services. You will lead and inspire a small team of business professionals, working closely with the Executive Headteacher and Board of Trustees to enable our schools to thrive and respond effectively to the evolving landscape of SEND provision.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record in operational leadership, delivering change and providing financial management, ideally within the education or not-for-profit sector. You will be a confident communicator, an innovative thinker, and a collaborative leader who shares our commitment to inclusion and excellence.

Spa School Camberwell is a special school for autistic pupils aged 4-16. The school opened in 2020 and has grown year on year. Owing to our reputation and success, the school is now at full capacity with classes in all key stages.
Our pupils are happy, safe and healthy. They make great progress and there is a strong focus on learning. Our staff are committed to making sure all our pupils have the best opportunities in everything we offer. They are committed to professional development and are well supported.
The Trust is now seeking to appoint an inspirational Headteacher to lead the school forward in the next stages of development. This is a unique leadership opportunity to build on the excellent foundations already in place.

Spa Education Trust provides outstanding education for autistic pupils.
We are recruiting teachers for our special schools for pupils with autism. Posts are available in primary and secondary classes. You will lead a class team and teach a class of 8-10 pupils.
Spa Camberwell is our school for pupils aged 4 – 16.
Spa Bermondsey is for pupils aged 11 – 19.
Our schools have a supportive and friendly ethos, a great environment, and a high quality of teaching and learning. You will access excellent training and professional development.
You do not need to have taught in a special school before as we offer great training and support. You do need a strong interest in SEND. Mainstream primary teachers are especially encouraged to apply.
Spa Camberwell will particularly welcome applications for our Key Stage One and Foundation Stage classes.
